汕大学子获得2021“外研社·国才杯”全国老员工英语辩论赛备赛春令营 一、二等奖
2021年5月4日-5月5日，2021“外研社·国才杯”全国老员工英语辩论赛备赛春令营在腾讯会议举行。
伟德国际BETVlCTOR龚奎源（19级金融学）、伍思颖（19级英语）、蒋韵婕（20级会计）、温蓝玉（20级英语）四名同学代表学校参加此次比赛，与西安交通大学、浙江大学等来自全国各地的104支高校队伍同台竞技。在经过5轮比赛的激烈角逐后，伟德国际BETVlCTOR龚奎源（19级金融学）、伍思颖（19级英语）两名同学成功获得公开组一等奖的好成绩；蒋韵婕（20级会计）、温蓝玉（20级英语）两名同学成功获得新手组二等奖的好成绩。温蓝玉（20级英语）获新手组最佳辩手称号。
On May 4th and 5th, 2021, the 2021 “FLTRP·ETIC Cup” National English Debating Competition (Spring Camp) was held on Tencent Meeting. Four debaters from Shantou University participated in this competition. They are Gong Kuiyuan (sophomore in Finance), Wu Siying (sophomore in English), Jiang Yunjie (Freshman in Accounting) and Wen Lanyu (Freshman in English).
Among 104 teams from all over China, the STU teams competed with debaters from top institutions like Xi’an Jiaotong University and Zhejiang University. After five rounds of competition, two STU debaters, Gong Kuiyuan and Wu Siying, were awarded the 1st Prize in the Open Group. The other two debaters Jiang Yunjie and Wen Lanyu were awarded the 2nd Prize in the Novice Group. Wen Lanyu was also titled the Best Speaker of the Novice Group for her outstanding performance.
